Please see attached information with regards the 2019 ECB Small Grants Scheme.
Please read thoroughly the attached guidance notes which contain all of the key information about the scheme – please review it carefully and contact me if you have any questions. If you then decide to submit an application, please ensure that your club meets all of the required eligibility criteria and your application is admissible with regards to the ‘eligible projects’ guidance.

Two like for like for quotes are needed from two different suppliers (Please read guidance notes) I have also attached a list of some suppliers that have been used in the past.
Minimum 10% partnership funding
What would add more weight to an application is where clubs can provide above the minimum of 10% partnership funding (given the amount of applications anticipated it is highly likely that a contribution of more than 10% will be required, last year a number of clubs with successful bids were able to secure a higher percent of match funding, which enabled the Yorkshire Cricket Board to spread our allocation wider and support more projects.
Please return applications to me via email (below) or call me if you intend to post hard copy.
(We can accept scanned copies provided they are clear to read)
*Please note that I cannot guarantee any application at this stage due to the anticipated large number of applications against the amount of funding available for the whole of Yorkshire*
Applications should include a statement as to why the investment is needed and the impact this will have for the club in the forthcoming season. Specifically, if clubs are applying for covers then we require information of your current status regards this equipment – i.e. you currently have no covers/your covers are damaged, no longer fit for purpose etc, and if you are simply replacing existing covers then what do you plan to do with your existing ones? The rationale behind this is that in previous years clubs have purchased new covers and it has been highlighted later that they had covers which were adequate, resulting in other clubs in greater need missing out – we strive to ensure that if clubs simply intend to replace covers which are still in good condition then other clubs may be able to utilise these covers
Successful applicants will be required to provide feedback on the outcomes of their project (i.e. how it has helped get more games on/increased revenue/club membership etc) – this is a key element and requirement of any successful application as it helps provide evidence of success and supports future funding opportunities and ensures ongoing grant aid. Last year a number of clubs who were successful failed to provide feedback which was very disappointing given the level of financial support.
